What is an image board?
An image board is an image-based forum centered around sharing
and discussing images.
Where should I start?
Before posting, make sure you familiarize yourself with the
rules and site culture. THEN POST ALL U WANT!
What is considered old and new 4chan/imgboard culture?
We consider anything past 2008 to be modern 4chan (that includes both
stuff from the late 2000s such as Pepe and Wojak but also newer things
like pills and *oomers). While 2008 is our deadline, we do prefer stuff from 2003-2006. thx!
WE ARE OKAY WITH RELATIVELY NEWER THINGS AS LONG AS THEY'RE STRUCTURED LIKE
AN OLD POST BUT ONLY THE IMAGE/CONTENT IS NEW.
Where do I make an account?
Most imageboards don't have an account system for normal users.
If you must verify your identity, use a tripcode. (but please
don't namefag)
What is a tripcode?
A tripcode is a password that comes after your name. When using
that specific password your name will have a random string of
characters specific to that password.
You use a tripcode by typing your name a pound sign (#) and then
the password.
What are "GETs"?
"GETs" happen on the approach to significant or unique post
numbers on a board
What is a bump?
When a thread is replied to, it is "bumped". Newest bumped posts
are sent to the top of the board.
